At the beginning of our A2 year we were told we'd have to remake approximately 30-40 seconds of a Busted video.
In preparation for this task we had to do a short exercise to practice our lip syncing technique.
We were given various choice's for songs and me and my partner decided to take on 'Livin' on a Prayer' by Bon Jovi.
We filmed a couple of takes, chose the best and then spent time trying to match our video takes with the music.
To make it convincing we had to make sure it was perfectly on time, to help make our mouth movements more on cue we actually had the sing the words, rather than just pretend to.
I've used première pro before, so the experience was nothing new to me. For my evaluation questions last year I used a couple of videos of me talking, so trying to match the speech and mouth movements wasn't particularly challenging either.
The activity and our final product we very basic, however still suitable to use for initial research.
